Pemerintah Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan (Pemkab Halsel), Maluku Utara, mengandalkan kekayaan wisata bahari untuk menarik wisatawan dalam dan luar negeri berkunjung ke daerah bekas pusat pemerintahan Kesultanan Bacan itu. Sekretaris Kabupaten Halsel, Helmi S di Ternate, Kamis (23/1/2014) mengatakan wilayahnya memiliki sejumlah potensi wisata bahari yang sangat menarik untuk dikunjungi wisatawan, di antaranya obyek wisata Pantai Gura Ici.
